A Message From Toby Spitz, President and Founder

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself and my firm to you. Since 1979, I have recruited and placed attorneys. My staff and I provide careful and comprehensive search and placement service to law firms and corporations.

The firm is divided into three specialty areas: the In-House Placement Group, which locates in-house counsel; the Law Firm Group, which places partners and experienced associates in law firms and assists in firm mergers; and, the Intellectual Property Group, our longest-established practice area, which locates patent, copyright and trademark candidates for law firms and corporations.

Our resources are technologically the most advanced available. Our database of candidates -- automated since 1987 -- contains more than 70,000 potential applicant records providing immediate access to a targeted pool of candidates for even the most specific search. Research in our library of directories, trade publications and CD-ROM titles, supplements our own files with additional candidates for your search.

One of the most significant factors distinguishing one search firm from another is the strength of the recruiters' network. All of our recruiters have extensive experience in the legal search business. Four of them are attorneys who have practiced in law firms and corporations. As a result, we have longstanding contacts who offer suggestions of possible candidates and insights into the market for attorneys. Our knowledge of the industry also enables us to assess the culture of our diverse client base in order to present candidates who match the client's needs in interpersonal as well as legal skills.
